If by some chance you have a different controller (particularly ones with weird layouts), you just have to manually test it to see if 1. I highly doubt that a switch pro controller will work with Yan Sim even though it works with steam (because steam had to add support for the pro controller as it isn’t recognized as a regular controller), but that’s not to say that some sort of other software can’t make it work. In some cases, a PlayStation controller works, but in my friend’s case it only works corded and in my case it doesn’t work at all.
Xbox controllers, of course, are supported because Windows is by Microsoft, and naturally they’d make sure their own controllers are supported. Someone tried to pull a prank?
